Here are some more WordPress Twenty Nineteen theme tweaks. I hope you find them useful when customising this beautiful new theme.

First of all, I wanted the text on my pages to fill the whole width of the page, with equal left and right margins, and not the default, in my opinion, rather narrow width. To perform this tweak, I went to the “Additional CSS” section of my WordPress Twenty Nineteen Child theme Customiser and entered the following CSS:

body.page .entry .entry-content > *, .entry .entry-summary > * {max-width: none;}

Next, I wanted to do the same on my single posts. Again, to carry out this tweak, I went to the “Additional CSS” section of my WordPress Twenty Nineteen Child theme Customiser and entered the following CSS:

body.single-post .entry .entry-content > * {max-width: none;}

Finally, I wanted to do the same on my blog page, as, for some strange reason, this requires slightly different CSS. Yep, to tweak, I went, for the third time, to the “Additional CSS” section of my WordPress Twenty Nineteen Child theme Customiser and entered the following CSS:

.entry .entry-content > *, .entry .entry-summary > * {max-width: none;}

All of these tweaks were, of course, done in my WordPress Twenty Nineteen Child Theme, which is essential if you still want to keep your customisations after the theme is updated.

I am sure that I will come up with further tweaks in the future, but for now, at least, that’s it!

P.S. Please check out my previous tweaks.
